I bought new fish to add to my glow tetras, and other glow fish. About 2 weeks later I noticed all of my fish had redworms. I Dont recall the name of the fish I purchased, however they had no scales and eat fish food when hungry, algi the rest of the time. I researched a bit, and decided to buy this product. It warns you not to use with an aquarium if you have fish with no scales, as it will be fatal. I only had 4 of these new algi eaters, and they brought in the worms I'm sure. Plus all of my fish would die shortly, as I could tell they all were ill. I only have maybe 20 small fish in my 32 gallon aquarium now. Anyway, as stated on the instructions, it didn't work well on the fish with no scales. I treated my aquarium form 3 days with this product along with an initial does of salt. On the 3rd day, it appeared the algi eaters were having neurological problems. They were unable to swim and were flopping around the substrate like they were having seizures I'm guessing. Anyway 3 died all but one quickly, and he survived my second dose, it did save my other fish. Anyway this stuff pretty much cured my other fish in 3 days. Only one of my scaled fish died, but I believe this one was just too infected. Anyway this is good stuff, but remember when making your decision is, yup, all non-scaled fish will be toast.
