Ok, let me start by saying that if you plan on using this to hang clothes from, you should be alright. That was not my purpose in buying this. I am a "Little Person" (midget for you politically incorrect people) and the reason I bought this was to prove to my girlfriend (not a Little Person) and her friends that I can do pull ups. Please don't laugh, this whole thing was kinda humiliating. First off, it was significantly taller than expected so I had to get a foot stool to reach it. We all made a five hundred dollar bet that I couldn't do five pull ups, which I can. Part of the bet was that I had to wear an Oompa Loompa outfit complete with orange face paint and a green wig. I only agreed because I wanted to embarrass them by winning. Well, upon climbing the foot stool to reach the bar, my overly tight costume ripped in the butt section completely exposing my bare cheeks. Being as my legs are only thirteen inches long I typically only wear thongs, I know it's not very manly but I do it for comfort. So after pleading to them to let me put on my normal clothes and them refusing, I climbed back up the stool and got three solid pull ups before the bar snapped right in half. Mind you this clothes rack says right in the description that it holds 200 lbs of weight and I only weigh 135 lbs. To add insult to injury, after it broke and I fell face forward slamming my head into the floor in front of twenty five people. Then my girlfriend's dog who hadn't recognized me since I put on the costume, wig and makeup on immediately jumped on me and tried (with moderate success) to mount me. This went on for nearly ten minutes and nobody would grab the rottweiler off me. The whole party including my girlfriend were laughing hysterically as I wrestled the dog off me and stormed out the door. She hasn't responded to my texts or calls since. I guess I'm not that heartbroken as it was only our second date. But still, if you are purchasing this for any other reason than to hang clothes from, save yourself the humiliation and just purchase something more sturdy.
