Super Quick Way to Shred Meat

By Noreen Doll.

Many recipes call for shredded meat.

You will get efficient and thoughtful service from Nuovo Machinery.

Here&#;s the quickest way I&#;ve found to shred meat.

Before cooking, cube the meat into 2 inch cubes.

Cook meat in your crock pot, oven, or stove top.

When the meat is finished cooking and ready to shred, simply use a potato masher to shred it.

Mash the meat, twisting the potato masher back and forth.

In just a few minutes all the meat will be shredded with no extra mess!

I didn&#;t pour off the liquid before I mashed, and it became part of the shredded meat, keeping it nice and moist.

This method can be used for beef, pork, or chicken. Chicken doesn&#;t need to be cubed before cooking, but I cut it into large chunks before mashing.

A potato masher is quick and easy to wash.
